“Endangered Species” is a gesamtkunstwerk that intertwines the effects of climate change and declining biodiversity on the environment and human existence, with the developments, philoso- phies, spiritualities, of the queer/trans black/person of color throughout human civilization.

By referencing and linking the significance of the biodiverse in nature to the significance of the bio- diverse in humanity, and by referencing proximity to extinction, it becomes explicit how integral queer and trans people of color are to the survival and evolution of our discourse, environment, empathy and world. “We are a biodiverse ecosystem that is the web of life.

We are the link between all organism on earth.

We all have our role in maintaining the earth. We are the resource in which families, communities, nations and future generations depend.”

Through movement, multi media, original music, spoken word and other traditional non-western art forms and practice, House of Living Colors will take you on a journey of cultural and scientific importance that is political and distinctly QTBIPOC.
